When registering an event under the umbrella of the Global Conversation on Sustainability (GCS), you agree to adhere to the code of conduct linked below. The GCS is a brand that stands for the values of the organizations behind it (IUPAC and the IYCN). As such, it communicates an environment of mutual respect, trust, inclusion and equity, and celebrates diversity. Please read the code of conduct before registering an event.
For your convenience, we have compiled some guidelines on how to organize common formats, for both virtual and in-person events. However, you may shape your event any way you like, if it follows the general theme of sustainability, is linked to chemistry, and agrees with the code of conduct (see above). Once your event is over, we would be happy to hear from you about your experience and the results of your event. We aim to gather results and feedback of the global conversations to bring all efforts together and discuss them at the IUPAC World Chemistry Congress 2023 for the benefit of the sustainable development of the chemistry profession.
